Armor Within brings law-enforcement professionals, first responders, families, wellness leaders, instructors, and community partners together at Grindstone Training Center.
The expo is centered on the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of the people who serve. Its public programming has combined practical training, wellness and fitness resources, speakers, demonstrations, first responder-owned vendors, and food.
The July 2026 event has concluded. The material below is preserved as an archive while Grindstone prepares the next version of Armor Within. There is no active event registration on this page.

Will Brooks
Will is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, competitor, and certified defensive-tactics instructor specializing in law-enforcement grappling and control tactics. His listed credentials include Level 1 and Level 2 Gracie Survival Tactics instructor certifications, defensive-tactics certification, and handcuffing-instructor certification.
His instruction emphasizes practical, pressure-tested control, positional dominance, officer safety, and real-world application under stress.
